I had paid for a 6-month prepaid package of web hosting with Bisonhosting.net back in October '09. I had been using it only for development projects and the site was never live to the public, so the only bandwidth being used was for my own access and disk space used was minimal.

Several days before the purchased package was to expire, my account was deactivated without warning. Upon contacting tech support, I was informed that they were no longer selling the packages I purchased and that I was welcome to purchase one of their other packages. My replies requesting fulfillment of the contract I had with them OR refund of the purchase price for the unrealized service period were met with silence. So I was supposed to turn the other cheek and make another purchase from a company that had already screwed me once? I think not.

Stay as far away from this company as possible. They do not live up to their contracts.
