Just in case you were ever thinking of buying hosting from Servage, don’t. I hosted several sites there awhile back and the service was terrible, we had downtime, e-mail problems, and the support was horrible. So I’ve been moving them to my own hosting bit by bit.

One site I moved a year ago and asked to have the domain transfered. They didn’t transfer it. Now I need the nameservers changed, so I tried to log in but they cancelled my account even though I was still hosting a domain with them. So I contact Servage and get no response for five days. On the fifth day I e-mail a different department, no response. On the 7th I send a third department a message saying it’s been a week and I would really like to transfer the domain now.

Service guy #1 finally responds telling me to renew my account. On day one I had tried that, except the link redirects to service. Now I just want to get the hell away from them. After several more responses he says he’s directing me to a higher level of support.

Two days later I haven’t heard back, so I e-mail them again asking when the transfer will be set up. (It’s not even hard to transfer a domain; it’s very easy.) Someone responds saying they’ve re-activated my account and will auto-renew the domain next year when it expires. Yeah. Way to even have read my e-mail, Servage. This time I’ve e-mailed them again explaining for the fifth time that I want the domain transfered, ASAP.

So please, don’t ever use them. Worst service I’ve ever had, anywhere, and their control panel is absolute junk as well.
